Chapaties(Standard proportions) Recipe
Ingredients :
Wheat flour 100gm
Water 60gm
Salt a pinch
Dough weight 160gm
Wheat for rolling 5gm
Cooked wt.(5 in all) 5gm
per chapati 29gm
Diameter of chapaties 15cm
Method :
Sieve flour.
Add salt and water and make a stiff dough.
Sprinkle some water over and set aside for at least one hour.
Knead well.
Divide into small balls.
Roll out using rice flour.
Bake well on both sides on hot griddle.
Toss on hot coal. Allow them to puff.
Smear with melted fat and serve hot.
