Beetroot Hulwa Recipe
Ingredients :
Beetroot 225gm
Clarified butter 55gm
Cardamoms a few
Pistachio nuts silver paper 30gm
Sugar 115gm
Mawa 115gm
Method :
Peel and grate beetroot.
Heat fat. Fry grated beetroot. Add a little water and let it cook.
Add sugar and continue cooking.
When the mixture is almost dry, add mawa and powdered cardamoms.
Cook till it forms ball when tested with fingers.
Remove and spread on a greased plate.
Sprinkle with chopped nuts and garnish with silver paper.
