Aa Dekhen Zara
|
Release Date : 27-Mar-2009
PAISA, PYAR, POWER
Ray Acharya (Neil Nitin Mukesh), a struggling photographer has nothing going for him… until he inherits a very ‘special’ camera from his grandfather which changes his life in a way that he could not have imagined in his wildest dreams.
The power of the camera changes Ray's destiny overnight. His lifes becomes one big roller coaster ride that takes him from rags to riches and also help him meet the love of his life Simi (Bipasa Basu) who is an exciting sexy DJ with a mind of her own. Everything is hunky dory and moving towards 'happily ever after'.
The team of Aa Dekhen Zara was shooting at The Royal Palms Hotel at Goregaon when the terror attacks took place. A lot of the unit was headed towards South Mumbai after the shoot wrapped up. They were saved by timely sms’s from people. Neil who was shooting that night stayed on at the hotel instead of going home to Napeansea road which is very close to where the attacks took place.
Soon after the terror attacks the team was shooting an action sequence at Sanjay Gandhi National Park. Action director Shyam Kaushal tested a gun fire without the knowledge of the unit. Since the attack was so fresh in every one’s mind, most people froze in their tracks, thinking the terrorists were back again!
Neil, Bipasha & Rahul Dev were shooting a sequence for the film at Nishiland Water park in Khopoli. There was a crowd of close to 1600 people who had come to enjoy their Sunday at the amusement park. Their excitement knew no bounds when they found out that the stars were shooting so close by to them. The production had organized such unbreachable security that it did not matter whether the crowd was of 1600 or 16000 people. So much so that the stars didn’t even know that there was such a large crowd.

This is one of the best original films released in recent days. It is certainly a benchmark movie.

Hey Guys... If this story was directed by any hollywood director then it could be a smash hit but alas! there was nothing to appreciate in the movie. Songs were not settled as per the circumstances. You see the song in the movie when you can't expect it. Neil Nitin & Bipasha both are good in acting but the director was not able to get full from them. Fighting & romantic scenes could be much better as per the story line up. It is not a must watch but 'Firaaq' could be much better option than 'Aa Dekhne Zara'. Lol....if you will take your girlfriend with you for this movie then she will definitely say, "Laaya tu laaya yaara kaisi jageh". |
