Dimple Kapadia

Dimple Kapadia was born in the year 1957 to Chunnibhai Kapadia, a Gujarati businessman and Betty. She has a sister by the name of Simple Kapadia. She got married to actor Rajesh Khanna and is the mother of actresses Twinkle Khanna and Rinke Khanna. The actress is now a grandmother with both her daughters having a child each.

In 1973 Dimple Kapadia was discovered by the legendary showman, Raj Kapoor, who signed her up opposite his son, Rishi Kapoor, in the 1973 hit Bobby. Dimple became a star overnight when she was just 16 years old.Dimple is well known for her glamorous looks.

She has worked in quite a number of films that earned her both name and fame. In 2001, she was praised for her performance as an alcoholic in Dil Chahta Hai.
